The BEED degree program aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for elementary education.
Objectives
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the diversity of learners in various learning area;
- Manifest meaningful and comprehensive pedadogical content knowledge (PCK) of the different subject area;
- Utilize appropriate assessment and evaluation to measure learning outcomes;
- Manifest skills in communication, higher order thinking skills and use of tools and technology to accelerate learning and teaching;
- Demonstrate positive attitude of a model teacher, both as an individual and as a professional; and
- Manifest a desire to continuosly pursue personal and professional development.
